LeEco, formerly known as LeTV, released its flagship Le Max Pro in February this year. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, even before some other companies that claim their phones to be “flagships”. Now, it has leaked that the company could be planning to release the successor of the device- Le Max 2 Pro.

It all started last year when Asus launched the Zenfone 2 with 4GB RAM, and since then we have seen RAM increase across most of the Chinese smartphones to such a peak-point that this year ZUK, Vivo, and OnePlus now all have 6GB RAM phones. But not too late, we will be getting a flagship that will be hosting 8GB RAM.

Sources say that the new LeEco Le Max 2 will come packed with an 8GB RAM that will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The price of the device is estimated to be of around 3000 Yuan (around Rs. 30,600) and the device will be available in red, blue or silver colors.

Well, if these staggering specification facts were not enough, it is even believed that the device will come with a crisp 25 megapixel rear camera that will be placed just above the fingerprint scanner.

So what do you all think? Are the phones launched with 6GB RAM not enough to satisfy the needs? Is 8GB too much? Or can the company optimize the software SO MUCH that it uses a complete set of 8GB at once? Do you think if this 8GB phone will turn into a NEED someday?
