The launch date for the OnePlus 3 is nearing, and the leaks are picking up the pace. The latest leaks include photos, GeekBench test results, that is appearing on Oppomart website before the phone has even launched.
First up, the live photos leaked via The Malignant on Twitter resonate with something a bit too similar that we have been looking so far. It’s a metal frame, the camera setup, and the front home button go just the way we have been studying about in the recent past. The volume button and the Alert Slider are placed on the right, while the power button sits exclusively on the left side. The USB port, the 3.5mm audio jack and the speaker grilles are all put together at the bottom.
A leak from GeekBench reveals really good performance scores. It displayed a single-core score of 2,394, and the multi-core came up to 5,635. The leaks also reveals two separate tests conducted recently, with single-core scores of 2,277 and 2,400, and multi-core scores of 5,157 and 5,516.
Now if these were just some few things we knew about the One Plus 3 but there’s an absolute tell-all from Oppomart. It has already listed the smartphone on its site before the launch, revealing the phone’s pricing and specifications. The sample images of the device on Oppomart are again very much similar to the leaked ones so far. The price of the OnePlus 3 is listed to be $369, but as of now it is not appropriate to decide on the pricing as we cannot judge about to which extent the price of the phone might go. The specs listed on the website include a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) display, and a Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with two RAM and inbuilt storage options. There is 4GB RAM with 32GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM paired up with 64GB of storage variant. Camera incles 16-megapixel back and 8-megapixel front cameras. The listing also displays a 3650mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and Android Marshmallow-based OxygenOS.
The smartphone is set to have a fingerprint sensor at the front, and a USB Type-C port for fast charging. Apart from the two variants listed on top, the OnePlus 3 is also expected to come in 4GB of RAM/ 64GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM/ 32GB of storage bundles as well.
For all those of you who are not aware of the launch, the launch will happen on June 14 at 10.00pm IST on a virtual space station, which will be live streamed through the OnePlus Android app. It is for the first time, OnePlus will sell its latest smartphone invite free at the time of launch.
